Message from the Principal
In recent years, many countries have developed economic ties with Japan, strengthening their connections. Many international students who have studied in Japan have become bridges of friendship between their home countries and Japan, fostering new relationships.
Japan is a country rich in natural beauty, with its seas and mountains, and a temperate, humid climate that allows people to enjoy the beauty of four distinct seasons throughout the year.
If you are considering advancing to a Japanese university or graduate school, it is essential to carefully choose the Japanese language school where you will begin your studies. The school where you build your foundation in the Japanese language and learn about life in Japan will be the key to your future success.
Our institution is a designated school by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan. It took over Oshu Japanese Language School, which was established in 2001, and began as Kyushu International Education Institute in 2009. Since then, thanks to the efforts of both our faculty and students, we have achieved outstanding results in the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) and the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test). Many excellent graduates have gone on to universities, graduate schools, and vocational schools. Many of our graduates have shared their joy with us, letting us know that they continued their efforts after advancing in their studies and eventually secured employment at Japanese companies.

Japanese Language Teachers
Our institution has experienced full-time instructors and part-time lecturers who are dedicated to providing detailed guidance tailored to each student’s needs, helping them improve their Japanese proficiency. Our curriculum includes mock exams and special guidance for EJU and JLPT preparation. Additionally, we offer personalized academic counseling to help students achieve their academic and career goals.
Student Affairs and Administrative Staff
We provide comprehensive support for students from their arrival in Japan, including airport pickup, orientation, daily life guidance, health management, and visa renewal applications. Our staff includes multilingual support in English, Chinese, Nepali, and Vietnamese, ensuring that students can live comfortably without concerns. In case of health issues or emergencies such as accidents, we respond swiftly to assist students.

Dormitory and Surrounding Environment
Kyushu International Education Institute owns a student dormitory that accommodates up to 100 students. Additionally, students can stay in school-managed private dormitories, which are approximately a 15-minute walk from the school. The dormitory area is convenient, with supermarkets, hospitals, and subway stations nearby.

Inside the school, there are books and reference materials available for students to browse. There is also a rest area with vending machines, where students can relax and interact with teachers and fellow students from various countries.
