Please tell us your impressions/feelings about living in the dorm after experiencing it.

It’s in a convenient location, making it easy to live

I’m happy I could move into the school dormitory right after arriving in Japan. Furthermore, the rent is also inexpensive. I had been anxious about coming to live in Japan, so this put my mind at ease. The dorm is close to the school, and there are also many supermarkets and cafes nearby, so it’s very convenient.

Please tell us what you find challenging

Living in an unfamiliar place was tough.

I’m used to Japan now, but it was tough when I first arrived. I was the only Vietnamese student who entered in the October intake, and I felt very lonely living alone. However, the teachers and senior students were kind and taught me various things, which was very encouraging.

Do you have a message for prospective students?

Don’t worry.

I think Japan is a clean and safe country. Actually coming here, I found the people to be kind and was also very impressed by Japanese culture. I’ve visited various places, but there are still many I haven’t been to yet. When you all come to Japan, let’s not just study, let’s travel too!
