Eligibility for EnrollmentStudents aiming to enter Japanese graduate schools, universities, junior colleges, or vocational schools.
Students with a basic level of Japanese (equivalent to N5 or higher).

4th Period: 3:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Curriculum

Upon enrollment, students will take a placement test to determine their proficiency level and be assigned to an appropriate class.

Preparation courses for the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) and JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) are also offered.

First Year

Beginner

Learn 300 kanji characters and a 1,500-word vocabulary to develop the minimum language skills necessary for everyday life.

Exam preparation: Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N4, N5) and Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)

Develop Japanese language proficiency at CEFR A1 and A2 levels.
First Year

Intermediate

3,000-word vocabulary, master grammar for various situations, and develop practical, natural conversation skills.

Exam preparation: Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N3), Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)

Aim for CEFR B1 level Japanese language proficiency.
Second Year

Upper-Intermediate

Vocabulary of 6,000 words: Ability to understand information such as news.

Acquire the Japanese language skills necessary for theoretical discussions in debates and other activities in preparation for university entrance exams.

Exam preparation: Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N2), Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)

Aim for CEFR B1 level Japanese language proficiency.
Second Year

Advanced

10,000-word vocabulary; understand specialized vocabulary; be able to explain complex situations logically.

Develop essay-writing skills in preparation for future lectures and report assignments.

Exam preparation: Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N1) for university entrance exams.

Develop Japanese language proficiency at CEFR B2 level.
